OCF – the Oesophageal Cancer Fund – raises awareness, raises funds, supports research and helps support those living with oesophageal cancer. OCF’s ‘Lollipop Day’ fundraising vehicle was at risk of being better known than the brand itself, which had a range of other initiatives to highlight.
Open devised a hardworking website that speaks coherently to all groups: those living with OCF and their families, donors, corporates and potential volunteers. Each group, on arrival on the site, is led on a user-journey to the information and engagement they are looking for. Whichever journey a visitor takes, they get a sense of community and gain a clear understanding of OCF, its mission and its needs.
Deciding to redevelop our website from scratch was akin to an Everest challenge for us. Starting at base camp, OPEN guided us to scale the summit. For anyone who needs us, we are now proud to welcome them into our new online home. And it doesn't end once you press 'live'.
