Our task was to take the assets inherent in the YR Sauce brand and apply them to a new range of relishes. While the brand journey from a sauce condiment to a relish is a perfectly credible one, we were bringing an older brand into a modern category which is not only verging on crowded but also has significant, dominant players.
The core YR brand had been refreshed not long before we commenced work on this project. While this meant we weren’t in a position to develop a true family look across the entire range – new and old – it did mean that the logotype, colour schemes, and imagery we would be bringing forward to the new relish packaging, would give us a contemporary base to work from.
They identified the key product advantages and developed a compelling brand story to appeal to existing customers and attract new customers. They produced striking labels, adverts, digital assets and POS, that exceeded our expectations.
